Ello, ello.
Last night when I was at Silvertone, I came to the conclusion that I don’t focus enough time and energy on mac ‘n’ cheese. I always see it on menus and think things like “oh, I shouldn’t get that.. it’s too heavy, i’ll be too full” etc. etc. etc. The reality is, none of that matters. When mac ‘n’ cheese hits the table, forks come at it from every direction! No one person will ever eat too much, it’s just not possible. I left dinner feeling delightfully satisfied and the perfect amount of full.
Silvertone’s mac ‘n’ cheese is topped with buttered bread crumbs, and when you dig into it, the macaroni comes out gleaming with yellow cheese. The cheese sauce doesn’t turn soupy when you get to the bottom, it’s thoughtfully proportioned to the mac.
Let’s all have a moment of silence to pray to cheesus.

Love Silvertone. Their mac and cheese is AWESOME but even better are their side greens. I’m actually having my 30th birthday party there!
Ahh Silvertone’s mac and cheese is a classic! And you are right, when mac and cheese hits the table, everyone wants it!
Silvertone makes my favorite grilled cheese in the city, paired with awesome fries and a glass of chardonnay. It’s my dream meal.
