In a land full of two dollar footlong franks, beer-battered chicken tenders and cheese-drenched nachos, there lives another equally indulgent favorite from our past – the tater tot. The land I speak of is the Lower Depths in Kenmore; a place where mimosas are made with Miller High Life and if you’re not putting mac n’ cheese and caramelized onions on your hot dog of choice then you’re doing it wrong. It’s also a place that dedicates an entire menu section to tater tot platters. Yes, you read that correct TATER TOT PLATTERS. The ones pictured above are smothered in bourbon chili, beer cheese dip and scallions. So go grab seven friends (so you don’t go into cardiac arrest alone) and get yourself a plate asap.
