Today a co-worker and I went to Ginza for lunch. When I saw this bad boy on the menu I knew it was the perfect candidate for Food Porn Friday. It’s a spicy tuna roll, layered with sweet and spicy mayo, baked scallops, crabstick, shiitake and enoke mushrooms — dripping out of it, topped with flying fish roe. AKA explosion of awesome. I’d take that over lava any day. It was really heavy, all the different textures were a little overwhelming, but I’m glad I tried it. I was full after two bites. Ginza is the best sushi I’ve had in Boston. Douzo used to be my favorite, but Ginza just trumped it. Like. A. Boss.

Ginza is also a fantastic spot for some after work sake-bombing. They have the perfect size glasses and will encourage/laugh at you as you bomb away!
