Food Porn Friday | Flank Steak | Nick’s On Broadway | Provi

The other night I went to Providence to help my brother with his move, and he took us to his favorite restaurant in the city, Nick’s on Broadway.  I loved every single one of my eight courses (dinner with Tom tends to get crazy like that), but this was one especially beautiful:flank steakBlackbird Farms Flank Steak with Corn Succotash and Corn Puree, cooked to a perfect juicy medium rare and celebrating late summer corn. Love on a plate. Everything from the tasting menu is both local and seasonal, and in my opinion it really doesn’t get much better than that. More on this epic meal later in the week. Jacki and I have been crazy with moving this week (Kendall Sq. and Beacon Hill – ahhhhh!) but there are a lot of great things coming up and next week we have a huge super exciting announcement. Brace yo’selves.

Happy Friday and happy long weekend! Get out of work early, have cocktails in the afternoon, wear white pants and eat lots of tomatoes and corn!
