A delightful afternoon stroll last weekend inevitably led me to the Rattlesnake. The original plan was to drink margs on the roofdeck, but when I saw a plate of tacos go by I HAD to order them regardless of the brunch I just downed about an hour earlier. I don’t know why I have never tried Rattlesnake tacos, but they are a work of art! Every type is overflowing with colorful and interesting toppings.
Because I can’t see “shredded beef” on a menu without ordering it, we started with the Classic Shredded Beef Tacos: cilantro-lime crema, cojita cheese, avocado, lettuce, refried beans and verde rice. I was honestly blown away by this perfect afternoon snack.
Then per our waitress’ suggestion we tried the Fish Tacos with local cod, celery root tempura, apple-Anaheim chile slaw, chipotle crema. 2 for 2. They were so different but perfect in their own way. This was light and cirtusy, perfect for a margarita pairing.

Tacos look incredible!
I’m kind of like that with shredded beef too. The tacos look great! I made steak tacos and fish tacos last week. I’ve been on such a taco kick.
Yummy! I actually had fish tacos at Temazcal today based on your review. EXCELLENTE. Some stellar cocktails were enjoyed so thanks for telling me about this place!
I want those tacos now! Look at that avocado!
