I hate to say it, but I’ve never actually been to Jean Georges Market in the W Hotel. I don’t know how or why, and I’ve been meaning to forever, but somehow it has escaped me. Thankfully, they did not escape me at the Taste of Back Bay just a few weeks ago, nor did their beyond phenomenal Salted Caramel Sundae. They were offering up bite-size versions of their infamous dessert; sans ice-cream, but crazy delicious none-the-less. These niblets were overly indulgent and totally rich. Had it been socially acceptable I would have grabbed a handful or so but alas I showed some restraint; the Stoli Dolis at the Capital Grille table weren’t so lucky…

Looks intriguiging… and decadent!
Market has gotten very mixed reviews, but I’ve been there twice and had an AWESOME experience. The service was so, so good (especially the first time- a Friday night when my mom had made reservations for the WRONG night. They still managed to accomodate us and didn’t make us feel like idiots for coming on the wrong night!). Their desserts are definitely stellar
And those bite-size sundaes look awesome!!
This look phenom! I love Market – it’s lived up to the hype the few times I’ve ate there. The W hotel lounge apps and drinks are really delish, too!
I absolutely adore Market…and this dessert looks GORGEOUS!
Salted caramel seems to be all the rage these days, and that looks like quite an interesting way to serve it.
